Vignan Institute of Technology and Science, Nalgondawas founded in 1999 with the four branches of Engineering in a sprinting 350 acres land with valleys and watersheds, mango groves and greenery It is the first engineering college in the group of seven colleges of this group. Placement

 Vignan Institute of Technology & Science has an independent Training & Placement Cell devoted to cater to the needs of organization in conducting campus interviews for placements. It is headed by a Professor designated as Training & Placement Officer in charge. The Cell is assisted by Staff Placement Coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives from various courses of study.
