Seth Shri Mathuradas Mohotaji, Hinganghat donated Rs. 1,00,000/- to Nagpur Shikshan Mandal and SHRI MATHURADAS MOHOTA COLLEGE OF SCIENCE was started in the year 1949. The College celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 1974 and Golden Jubilee in 1999.
