Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, Bhadohi popularly known as IICT is only of its kind in Asia, has been set up by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India to provide much needed support to Textile, Carpet and allied Industries. IICT Bhadohi is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Institute. It was established by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in 2001. The Institute is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, UPTU Lucknow and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi. The institute is recognized by Textile Institute, Manchester, United Kingdom.
Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT) Bhadohi has been established with the aim to mould the future of Indian Carpet and allied Textile Industry through development of Human Resources and Technical Support.
