Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya was founded on March 4, 1902 by Swami Shraddhanandaji with the sole aim to revive the ancient Indian Gurukula System of education, on the bank of Ganges at a distance of about 6 km. from Hardwar and about 200 km. from Delhi. This institution was established with the objective of providing an indigenous alternative to Lord Macaulay's education policy by imparting education in the areas of vedic literature, Indian philosophy, Indian culture, modern sciences and research.

Arya Samaj has been advocating women's education since the day it was founded. As part of its policies for the up-liftment of women in the country, Kanya Gurukula Mahavidyalaya, Dehradun was established in 1922 by Acharya Ramdevji as a second campus of women's education. To give real shape to the dreams of Swami Shraddhanandaji, a new campus for women's education, Kanya Gurukula Mahavidyalaya, Hardwar was established in 1993 for PG classes for girls.

Gurukula has witnessed many distinguished guests in its journey till date. To name a few of them are C.F. Andrews, Former Prime Minister of Britain, Mr. Remjy Mcdonald, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr Radha Krishnan, Jamnalal Bajaj,Dr. Munje, Sadhu Vaswani,Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Smt. Indira Gandhi and Gyani Jail Singh.

TCS has  launched TCS Campus Commune Portal  for  students of 2013 Batch in the month of Jan.

It is designed mainly to build a connect with the students even before they go through the Selection Process. It will allow the students to stay in sync with the latest TCS happenings and participate in various on-line activities hence, providing an interactive Platform for the students to know more about TCS .

Last Date of registration on the TCS Campus Portal : 10th Feb , 2012.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

• All candidates have to register on the TCS Campus portal.
• Step 1 - Log on to  (www.nextstep.tcs.com)
• Step 2 - Click on 2012 & Above Graduates .
• Step 3 - Click on Create Your Profile (New Users) .
• Step 4 - Select your Year of Graduation i.e 2013 .
• Step 5 - Select your Institute .
• Step 6 - Fill up the TCS registration form .
• Step 7 - On successful submission of the Registration Form, a unique CT Reference Number will be displayed on the screen. You can use this CT Reference Number for any further communication with TCS.
• Step 8 - An e-mail with your TCS specific login credentials will be sent to you. Log into the Campus Portal with your login credentials & Fill up the Application Form.
• Step 9 - CLick on Campus Commune
