It was established in the year 2000 under the G.S. Pillay & Sons Charitable and Educational Trust which runs several educational institutions in various fields like Engineering, Pharmacy and Management and Art and Science. It was established with the vision to impart high quality education in the field of Pharmacy. It focuses on training and reserach programmes for the students. It has  the missin to educate students and enhance their hidden skills and their leadership qualities. They focuses to enable the students to get connected to the global opportunities. It is approved by PCI (Pharmcy Council of India) and AICTE (All india Council of Technical Education), New Delhi and approved by Dr. M G R Medical University, Chennai Tamilnadu. It offers many under graduate and post graduate courses like- D. Pharma, B.Pharm and M.Pharm. Apart from these it provides highly qualified and experienced faculty for the better teaching of students. It has well established excellent infrastructure including various modern facilites which are necessary for the students for their comfort or for their bright future.

It has good placement record as most of the students of this college got placed in good or reputated organizations according to their skills or eligibility. It provides various opportunities to students so that they can grab what they want. It has it's placement cell which helps students in their placement related activities by all possible way. The faculty assigned for the students to help in their placement activities are highly qualified and experienced. They conducts various pre-placement activities to train students for their better future placement or to get them aware about the placement process.
