It was established in 2006 and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. This institute is managed by State Government of Karnataka. It was established with the motto to develop medical college with a view to provide comprehensive treatment and good care to the needed patient. It provides undergraduate MBBS programs and post graduate courses. It has well established infrastructure including various facilities loike seperate hostels for boys and girls nwith fully equipped library, laboratories, lecture halls etc. It provides all the facilities which are necessary for the students to make them feel comfort or for their bright future. It's main objective is to promote, established, maintain a medical college. It's main focus is to enhance the skills of each individuals to enlighten them. Apart from this it conducts various extra curricular activities for the overall personality development.

Placement

The college performs well in the filed of placement activities. It provides the well established placement cell which help students in their all the placement related activities. It provides various opportunities to the students to make their future bright by conducting various interviews for them. It conducts various pre-placement activities to train the students and to get aware them about the placement process so that they could know about all the activities for them.
