Although I have no problem with traditions, and rather enjoy them, it does seem that tradition would impede progress. I mean, check out the Amish. It’s an extreme example, but an Amish infatuation and dedication to tradition has completely halted any and all “progress” that may have taken place.
Then again, the word progress is impossible to define. Perhaps an Amish style of living is progress, and a ‘normal’ lifestyle is a decline. Who’s to judge?
Yes, i agree that religion and culture is the main obstacle to progress in India because people think that if they will work with a person who has a different religion or culture they will be disagree with him or her.
