Established in the year 1967, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Bokaro Steel City, is a premier centre of education in Bokaro Distt., Jharkhand. Functioning under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the vidyalaya was founded under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalya Sangathan. It falls under the civil sector and strives to fulfill the educational requirement of Central Government employees and others on priority basis.
