St. Paul's is run under the auspices of the Gwalior Diocesan Educational & Charitable Trust.
It is a co-educational institution primarily started for the education of the Catholic children of Gwalior. Other children are also admitted without any consideration of caste , creed and status. It pays special attention to the formation of charater with sound moral principles. It lays stress on Catechism classes for Catholics and Moral Science for other students. It aims at the overall personality development of the students which will enable them to become worthy citizens of tomorrow.
The School caters to the children of all sections of society. School has classes from LKG to XII Standard. The curicullum is structured to meet and maintain high academic standards. The school is affliliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education. It prepares the pupils to appear for All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (XII).

1. The Registration for the LKG Classes would be conducted in January.
The credentials to be taken up by parents are:
· Parents should bring along with them original birth certificate of their wards from Nagar palika or Municipal Corporation at the time of Registration. No other certificate will be accepted.
· Two passport size photographs of the child are to be submitted.
· The registration form would consist of three leaflets to be filled with similar information. One leaflet would be office copy, one to be kept with parents and finally one should be used for lucky draw.
· The fee deposited for the Registration by the parents for the LKG Classes will not be refunded.
· A day in February is kept aside for the decision through the system of lucky draw. Registration forms would be put into a closed box, about 170 would be drawn out of it, in the presence of parents.
· With the increased emphasis on girl’s education, it has been set aside for 70 seats for girls and 100 seats for boys, the total being 170. In case there are not enough girl candidates, the seats will be allotted to boy candidates.
· The selected would be called to meet the teachers along with parents.
· Registration will be done and admission given to the basis of the number of seats.
· Children who are between the age group three and half as on April first are eligible to seek admission.
· Principal’s decision will be final at all cost.
· The parents should not accompany their wards to the classes specially in the morning except on’ Parents Teachers’ meet.
2. Admission to other classes will be restricted only to transfer cases for which registration begins in April.
3. The date of admission will be put up on the Notice board.
4. To seek admission to any class, 50% pass marks in the subjects of the admission test is compulsory & very good grades should be obtained (B2).
5. The students would be tested in the following subjects
· English
· Hindi
· Mathematics
6. To seek admission to class XI, it is mandatory to procure the aggregate of 150 marks. (Science and Mathematics together) in class X Board Examination for the Science stream.
