Manglour is an old Town situated in Distt. Haridwar, U.K and it has a rich background in the field of education. Maulana Saifullah, a preacher of  Darul Uloom, Writes in his book’’ Al Shajratul Mubarakatul Kazmiya’’ that Manglour was the centre of Islamic Teachings before Darul Uloom was established in Deoband, people of Deoband and surrounding areas used to consult Manglour for any Sharai solution. {In 725 hijri during the reign of Sultan Mohd. Tughlaq, reknowned historian Ziauddin burney.} Founded a Madarsa in Manglour on the recommendation of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, and Named it ‘Zia ul Madaris’ . Maulana Mohd. Usman Jahangir (Elias Shah Wilayat Sahib) Head-cum-Manager in this institution, but during british period this Madarsa also was devastated. A second Madarsa (Madarsa tul Momineen) was foundrd after this and several years before Darul Uloom. This fact has been justified by Qari Mohd. Tayyab Sahib & Maulana Asa’ad Madni.
          There was no Madarsa for Girls in this historical town. since long a Madarsa was under consideration for the upliftment of girls with Islamic, Oriental and Modern Education. So that the ladies may live  Islamic and scientific knowledge Simultaneously. Because only well Educated lady may bring up an intelligent people
          Keeping this goal in his mind famous journalist and writer, Qari Naseem Manglouri made up his mind and after consulting religious and social figures formed a society. He hired a Building on Landhaura road and in year 2000 started ‘Jamia Islah ul Banat’ after three years Madarsa was shifted in its own new building in Mohalla Toli, where it is going  well.
         During this short period Jamia has developed beyond expectation. Government has granted Approval to A.I.E. centre up to class viii, and also Approval from Uttarakhand Muslim education Mission. At present not only Fiqah, Hadis & Qura’an Shareef but Modern education also is going on 438 girls are studying from class Ist to VIII, in spite of different problems our institution has its own place and identity in the region and the credit goes to our well wishers on a state government survey in 2004 Jamia was declared only girls school.Which has religious education and most advanced education with computer & science etc. side by side.
         Jamia Has various Targets & goals at present, there are  fourteen faculties.
  (1) Faculty of Arabic (oral recitation & hifz):- Qura’an is taught to girls whit its rules (Tajweed ) in it.
  (2) Faculty of Diniyat :- Rules of  Islam (fiqah) & Hadis are taught here. special attention is paid on faith.
  (3) Faculty of Urdu:-  Urdu language (writing & reading) is taught here
  (4) Faculty of modern education :-  It includes Hindi, English, Geography science according to the syllabus of Uttarakhand govt.
  (5) Computer Deptt.
  (6) Department of publication:-  Booklets & pamphlets for the welfare of Muslims are published from here ‘‘Hum ne kya khoya, kya paya’’ (What did we get & lose?) has been published by Qari Naseem Manglouri. ‘‘computer science’’ by Miss Shagufta khanam & ‘‘Hum Aur Hamara Masail’’ (We & our problems) are under process.
  (7) Sultan Tipu library:- There are hundreds of books available on tafsir hadis,translations,history,general knowledge, social matters , fiqah & literature. Every one may go through this.
  (8) Anjuman ( Bazm Hazrat Khadija, Bazm Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa ) :-  Different Programmes are performed here to expose & reveal the talents of girls and they practice under the guidance of their teachers.
  (9) Deptt. For the protection of dignity of Sahaba (Rz.):- To antagonize the false propaganda against sahaba and to introduce their greatness to Common people, programmes are organised and their great character is projected by publishing the literature.
(10) Deptt.  for the Tahaffuz-e Khatm-e Nabuwwat (S.A.W.):-  For the restoration of dignity of prophet and to discard the false claims of prophecy done on different times.
(11) Deptt. of Account & Development. :-  Construction & finance are dealt here an audit by a chartered accountant.
(12) Mess  (Dining hall & system)
(13) Deptt. for awards :- Awards are allotted on outstanding performance.
(14) Deptt. for knitting & weaving :- In addition, scholars, intellectuals & govt officials visit Jamia off & on at present some rooms, furniture & water tank are our need.
