Method of admission
A. In Class I (RTE Act 2009 – section 12(1)(c) ) (See Annexure –V)
To fulfil the constitutional mandate of reservation to SC/ST and also to implement the provisions of RTE Act under Rule 12(1) c following procedure shall be adopted for admission to class I (with class strength of 41).
Step I All applications received, shall be scrutinized and separated in following bunches:-
i) All general category candidates including disabled of the same category.
ii) All SC candidates including disabled.
iii) All ST candidates including disabled.
iv) All other candidates belonging to other disadvantaged group like economically weaker sections socially weaker sections including disabled.
In order to give a boost to the academic achievement additional financial and human resources were made available to the Vidyalaya. One of the components of this scheme was to provide computer education to the children and develop learning centers in the Kendriya Vidyalaya.
The school has a well stocked library with about 8000 volumes, 25 periodicals and 5 news papers, a mathematics laboratory with mathematics clinic, an up to date sports room, an envious audio-visual room and a well decorated drawing room, last but not the least important, the music room from where emanates melodious sounds of musical instruments and the chorus of children in unison adds to the glory of the institution.
