Government Schools
A notice for admission in the ensuring academic session with the number of seats available in each class is published in newspapers and displayed on the school notice board in the last week of February. Admissions will be made strictly in accordance with merit to the extent of seats available in any particular class and on first come first served basis.Mere registration carries no guarantee of admission for seeking admission, Parents are requested to fill up the registration form, submit it to the school office on or before the specified date.
For KG-I&II : There will be an informal interview of the child and a meeting with the parents. The result of this will be declared soon after the interview.
Age & Age Proof : The child should be in the age group of 3 to 4 years as on 31st July of the academic session in which the admission is being sought. A photo copy of the birth certificate is required to be produced as an acceptable age proof.
For Class I and onwards :There will be an entrance test of English, Maths and General Science followed by a formal interview of the ward. The test syllabus for admission to various classes is given in Annexure.1 of the prospectus. The list of selected candidates will be put on the school notice-board. An attested photo copy of transfer certificate for admission in class 1 and a proper transfer certificate from other recognized school duly countersigned by educational authority for class-II and above at the time of admission, is required to be submitted. If however, a child has not studied previously in any recognized school and is seeking admission to class-II or any higher class, such an admission may be considered, as a special case, provided the parents files an affidavit to this effect, and the child passes a regular and full examination as prescribed by the school for promotion from the previous lower class and subject to prior permission, required if any, from the educational authority.
Mess Facility
The school also has excellent arrangements of a well furnished dinning hall to serve to all students a wholesome break-fast or afternoon refreshment, depending on their shift timings at the school and also a very sumptuous mid day meal will be provided only on request basis with additional charges. Meals are purely vegetarian and rich in food-value in balanced calories containing adequate quantities of ghee, fruit, salad, and green vegetables etc. The menu is prepared by the school dietician and the cooking and supervision of the kitchen arrangements and service are in expert hands.
Health
The school has a Dispensary with adequate provision for emergency & routine medical treatment with proper first aid equipments. A visiting child Specialist Doctor. Periodical health check-ups of all students are done and progressive record is maintained on an Individual Health Card.
The management of the Gurukul Rewa is vested with an Education Society, the Katyayni Shikshah Sansthan Rewa headed by a Chairperson, who for the present happens to be a person with life-long experience in the field of general management and education and is backed by her training and wide travels abroad. A full-time Executive Director is in-charge of the over-all Administration and utilities, assisted by well qualified, experienced and dedicated team that includes experience academicians, education promoters,managerial and staff & employees
