Day Boarding

The school offers Day Boarding facility for working parents and others. The wards availing of day boarding shall spend entire day in the school. The students are taken well care by the trained and dedicated staff and ensure to provide every facility to make them feel at home. Mid day meals are also provided to the students. Fresh and hygienically prepared food is served to the children after the consultation of a dietician.

We have developed strong library and information services which are essential to a learning program that values the cognitive, cultural, social, affective, technological and spiritual development of students in a globalized, multicultural and uncertain world. Librarians are actively engaged in the development of curriculum across all learning areas to ensure the integration of information skills, and a carefully planned library program that is implemented collectively and collaboratively. The school has three libraries for Primary Years Program (Nursery-5th Grade), Middle school and senior school segments. Libraries have an inviting set up with intranet based Wi-Fi facility.

Computer Labs

A hi-tech computer lab with Internet connectivity to make the students tech-savvy and to keep them abreast with the latest techniques & that teaches not just computer as a subject, but also, the integration of computer skills for learning of other subjects in the curriculum.

The Sports infrastructure at GDGIS is more than adequate to meet all the above mentioned aims. The School has Play Fields where students can engage themselves actively in games like Cricket, Soccer, Hockey and Tennis. A well- maintained 400 meter track provides the opportunity for students to develop their athletic skills. The students are also provided with a multipurpose Indoor Hall with an area of 10,000 sq. ft. and a height of 26 feet. This Hall, with viewing galleries, acts as a venue for both sporting and cultural activities. Popular films are also aired in this place.

GDGIS has 7 playing fields so that no student at GDGIS has a chance to become dull! Students can take part in any choice of Outdoor Sport and they have a huge variety to choose from. Athletics, Cricket, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Golf are some of the options that GDGIS offers. With expert coaches for each activity, GDGIS encourages its students to take their Sport seriously and take part in competitions.

Swimming Pool

Swimming is given a lot of importance at GDGIS. There are provisions made for all age groups. This Sport is indeed a very popular sporting activity. The school also boasts of a semi-Olympic sized swimming pool for the senior swimmers. The water is chlorine free and treated with ozone technology. The expert coaches are recruited keeping in mind they will be required to tackle beginners, regular swimmers as well as train students to take part in various competitions.

Medical Facility

First aid is provided to the students in the event of sudden illness or accident. A free medical checkup of all the students is conducted by the school medical officer at least once a year and the parents are informed accordingly.
