Amrita Vidyalayams are value based educational services established and managed by Mata Amritanandamayi Math in an endeavour to deliver accessible and quality education. Excellence in everything is our motto.
All Amrita Vidyalayams are under the care of Amma’s boundless love and compassion. They are schools based on Amma’s doctrine, which in their decisive year’s children should be allowed to evolve naturally and spontaneously.
There are 49 English medium schools throughout India out of which 28 are in Kerala. Besides there are 6 schools in Kerala running on the State Board syllabus and which are Government aided Malayalam medium schools. Admissions to Amrita Vidyalayams are open to all eligible candidates. All admissions are done as per the rules and regulations laid down by CBSE, except the Kollam Amrita Vidyalayam, that follows the directives of ICSE. There are no direct admissions for Classes X and XII.
The Amrita Vidyalayams have state of the art facilities that provide an ambience in stimulating intellectual thinking and academic interaction. The facilities on the campuses included well equipped classrooms that facilitate effective learning; modern labs in Computer, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that are enviable. The students are exposed to the world of knowledge through the vast number of books in our state-of-the-art libraries.
