The school is managed and owned by The Malankara Catholic Diocese of Pathanamthitta. One of the primary apostolates of the Diocese of Pathanamthitta is its service in the field of education. All Saints Public School Adoor & Junior College, is set in sylvan surroundings accessible from any part of the town as well as reachable from all villages in and around Adoor. Admissions are made from Play School till VIII in the vacancies available. Those candidates who seek admission from STD I to VIII should undergo a test based on the syllabus studied in the last class.
LIBRARY : RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All the staff and students are directed to avail themselves of the library facilities in the school.
2 . Students may borrow only one book at a time, may retain it for a week and it can be renewed for one more week. The librarian may call for a book at any time from a borrower.
3 . Examine the books while borrowing and report to the librarian of any damages, missing pages etc before leaving the library.
4 . Books borrowed from the library should be kept neat. No marking, underlining or scribbling of any kind in the library book is allowed.
5 . The person in whose name the book is issued will be held responsible for all books drawn theron.
6 . A fine of 50 paise per day will be charged for the late returning of books.
7 . If books are lost, damaged or defaced, a fine upto double the cost of the book will be charged. In the case of any dispute the Principals decision shall be final and binding.
8 . Reference books shall not be taken out of the library. No other books are allowed in the reference section.
9 . All library books and card must be returned before the end of February every year. Clearance from the library is required before applying for Transfer Certificate. The above facilities are provided in the library. Students who whish to avail themselves of the above facilities will have to pay separately for each facility.
STRICT DISCHIPLINE AND SILENCE SHOULD BE MAINTAINED IN THE LIBRARY
SCHOOL BUSES
Four School buses run to different part of the city. Check with the School office for bus routes and stops. The students can travel by school bus only after remitting the bus fee and obtaining Journey Card from the school office. Note the following points as safety measure.
a . See the school bags are soft and secure enough to be taken in the buses.
b . While in the bus, do not stretch your hand or head out of the bus, and never make any noise.
c . Guardians should ensure that children board the bus safely and are taken back on their return.
d . Students who travel by school bus should always carry the Journey Card with them.
e . When the student stops using the School bus, the matter should be reported to the office and the Journey Card returned, failing which the bus fee for the whole year will have to be paid.
f. Get into the bus in a queue and be quiet inside the bus.
g . Offer your seat to someone who needs it more than you do.
h . Follow the instructions of the bus Staff and the bus Guides.
