Pune University introduces MTech in Aviation

 The University of Pune introduces a new MTech course focussed on training pilots, in collaboration with top German civil aviation company for the academic year 2013- 2014.

Vice chancellor, Wasudeo N Gade told the repoters that the first six months will be at UoP's department technology , while the rest 18 months will be in on site training in Germany, following which the candidate will get UoP degree as well.

Gade , also said that all the syllabus, courses, curriculum, have been decidedby the statutory bodies of University. 

According to the director of UoP and college development , V B Gaikwad said that the new course would be offered on a credit based system. The credit which would be accumulated in onsite of Germany would be transferred to the UoP for the issue of award of Degree.

Moreover, Gade said that the University would be focussing on promotion of research activities, both on campus and other affilated colleges. The University has also laid the Rs. 10 crore project on fiber network for the better connectivity.

Gade also added that there would be some new modifications in education pattern . Like there would be online engineering question paper for the students, online checking and scanning system as these method would clear the hindrance of not checked papers etc.
