ONGC Recruitment 2014 for Various Posts
ONGC, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Limited is inviting applications for the recruitment of post of Assistant Technician, Junior Assistant Technician, and Junior Technical Assistant in relevant discipline as mentioned in Advt. No. 04/2014, WOU, Mumbai. All interested candidates can apply to this recruitment process after satisfying eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Age limit
- Maximum age of an applicant must not exceed by 35 years as on 20th June 2014.
- Category wise age description is mentioned as below:

2. Educational Qualification:
For Assistant Technician (Electrical): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST and should have Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Technician (Mechanical): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Technician (Production): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering with 60% Marks are eligible to apply for this post.
For TA Gd.III (Chemistry): Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with Pass Marks are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Technician (Electronics): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom / E&T Engineering with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST (or) M. Sc in Physics with Electronics with Pass Marks are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Technician (Boiler): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST with 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Rigman (Drilling): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Petroleum Engineering with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST, physical standards as specified are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Gd.III (Materials Management): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Materials Management / Inventory/ Stock Control with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST, recognized by the State Board of Technical Education /One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST are eligible to apply for this post.
For Assistant Technician (Civil): Candidates with 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 60% Marks for General/OBC & 50% Marks for SC/ST respectively are eligible to apply for this posts.
How to Apply
- All interested candidates have to apply only through online mode of application.

Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written test followed by interview to be held on due date.
- Phase-I: Short listing on the basis of online submission of applications.
- Phase-II: Written test to be held on 10th August 2014
- Phase-III: Interview (Candidates who will be clear written test will only call for interview)
- Phase-IV: Physical Test, parameters for physical test will be as follows:
Physical Tests: Physical Standard Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) will be conducted for short listed candidates for the following posts as mentioned below:
