OMC Recruitment 2014 for JE, Surveyor and Foreman & Other

Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC) had published notification for the recruitment of total 197 posts in various departments. All interested candidates satisfying eligibility criteria have to send their completely filled applications on or before 15^th April 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 18 years
• Minimum Age: 32 years

NOTE: Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women candidates & 10 years for departmental & PWD candidates respectively.

2. Educational Qualification

• For Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates with Diploma in Civil Engineering from a AICTE recognized Institute are eligible to apply for the post.
• For Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Candidates with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a AICTE recognized Institute are eligible to apply for the post..
• For Junior Engineer (Electrical): Candidates with Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a AICTE recognized Institute are eligible to apply for the post.
• For Surveyor: Candidates with Diploma in Mines Survey from a AICTE recognized Institute with Survey Certificate of Competency in Mining Survey from DGMS are eligible to apply.
• For Foreman (Min.): Candidates with diploma in Mining with Foreman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS are eligible to apply.
• For Junior Executive Assistant: Candidates with bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University with Diploma in Computer Application are eligible to apply.
• For Junior Accountant: Candidate with bachelor degree in Commerce from recognized University with Diploma in Computer Application can apply.
• For Assistant Teacher (TG): Candidates with Bachelors’ Degree in Education/ Degree in Science with PCM subject are eligible.
• For Junior Pharmacist: Candidates with +2 Science with Diploma In Pharmacy from recognized University/ Institute & Approved by Indian Pharmacy Council.
• For Electrician-III: Candidates with HSC with ITI in Electrical, lineman/wireman Trade from recognized institute with “A” certification can apply.
