1 . BJP Government in Karnataka headed by Chief Minister

  • B.S. Yediyurappa Proved its majority winning confidence motion by voice vote .
  • After winning the trust vote and passage of finance bill for a period         
  • Of 3 months  along with supplementary budget 
  • Speaker K.R.  Ramesh Kumar,tendered his resignation. 

2 . India has 2,967 tigers as per Tiger census made public by  Prime Minister Narender Modi . 

      

  • Madhya Pradesh has the highest number  of Tiger population 526 , Karnataka with 524 and Uttarakhand with 442 tiger follows the listChhattisgarh and Mizoram saw decline in Tiger population , rest of State saw positive rise in tiger population .

 


3. Odisha : The State Assembly  Sachivalaya or Secretariat building in Bhubaneswar .

  • Will now be called ‘Lok Seva Bhavan’ announced Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.


4. LCU L­56 Landing Craft Utility (LCU) MK IV class ships, is commissioned into the Navy by Vice Admiral Atul Kumar Jain .

  • It will be used for search and rescue, disaster relief, patrolling, says Vice­Admiral.


5. Pench sanctuary of  Madhya Pradesh and Periyar sanctuary of Kerala are the best managed tiger reserves in the country.  

  • As per  evaluation of India’s 50 tiger sanctuaries released along with the 4th National Tiger Estimation


6.1 lakh students of government colleges in Rajasthan appeared in an examination which was virtually a test of their honesty.

  • No invigilator or nor  any equipment will be used to monitor the students .  
  • The test mainly checks  honesty, truthfulness, self control and self confidence of students .


7.Mizoram :My School, My Home  “Kan Sikul, Kan Huan “a project of  Lawngtlai district administration for turning schools into nutrition gardens, has been made the model for all schools and colleges in the State .

  • To fight malnutrition among children by letting them grow their own fruits and vegetables in their schools with the help of teachers, parents and community members.


8.National Medical Commission Bill, 2019 (NMC) was passed by Lok Sabha .

  • Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan assuring the House that the Bill, which seeks to repeal the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, will go down in history as the most revolutionary step taken to improve medical education in India.


9.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will appear  in a special episode of Discovery’s “Man vs Wild” which will emphasize on Environmental Change .

  • According to a statement from the channel, the episode, featuring adventurer Bear Grylls and shot in the Jim Corbett National Park,


10.Rajasthan : The State  Assembly Speaker C.P. Joshi has organised two tours for tribal children of his constituency. 

  • The visit to important places of six States will help students to get  exposure and educate them about the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
