1. World Immunisation Week: 24th to 30th April
• Aim of the week is to raise awareness about the importance of getting timely vaccinations against vaccine preventable disease.
• Theme of this year is “Protected Together, #VaccineWorks”.
• It encourages people at every level i.e. from donors to general public to go further in their efforts to increase immunisation coverage for the greater good.
2. India-China collaboration at Wuhan summit
• The summit was first informal summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China’s President Xi Jinping held in Wuhan.
• The purpose of this meeting was to exchange views on bilateral and global important issues and to elaborate their respective visions and priorities for national development.
• India and China will jointly launch an economic project in Afghanistan which is a first ever Sino-India joint initiative in a third country.
• PM Modi focused on people-to-people contact through STRENGTH i.e. S-Spirituality; T- Tradition, Trade and Technology; R-Relationship; E-Entertainment; N-Nature Conservation; G-Games; T-Tourism and H-Health and Healing.
3. All about TeleHuman
• A holographic videoconferencing system that allows people in different locations to appear before one another in life-size three-dimension is called TeleHuman.
• This technology uses ring of intelligent projectors mounted above and around a retro-reflective, human-sized cylindrical pod.
• Using the depth cameras remote images are captured which has allowed researchers to beam 3-D image of human from one room to another.

5. India got bronze at Archery World Cup
• In the mixed double event at Archery World Cup, India has won bronze medal.
• The duo of Abhishek Verma and Jyoti Surekha Vennam defeated the mixed team of Turkey by a score of 154-148.
• With this medal Abhishek Verma has gotten 7th medal in world cup tournament and India has gotten second medal in compound archery event which was started in 2017.
