Applications are invited for admission to the B.Ed programme through the school of distance education for the year 2012-14 (approved by the distance education council (DEC), New Delhi and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore
Eligibility: Teachers serving in recognized Schools with minimum of two years of teaching experience are eligible for admission to the programme
UG or PG inn any one of the subjects (Tamil, English, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science)
PG in Economics and Commerce both UG and PG must be in the same subject

Mode of selection: Based on the performance in the entrance examination and Tamilnadu state government communal reservation norms
Duration: 2 years
Prospectus and application form can be obtained in person or by post from 12th December, 2011 on submission of a request along with a demand draft for Rs 500/- towards its cost drawn in favour of the director, School of distance education, payable at Coimbatore and self addressed stamped envelope (25”x35”) to the value of Rs 50/-

Candidates can also download the application form and other details from the website www.b-u.ac.in and submit the filled in application with prescribed fee of Rs 500/- in the form of demand draft
