All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, Kolkata a self financed medical Co-Ed institution (affiliated to university of Calcutta) invites the application for admission to the Master’s of Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) and Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration-Community Health (DNEA-CH) courses conducted by the All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (ALLIH & PH).
Important dates:
Last date of receipt of completed application forms: 20th April, 2012.
The course will commence: 01st July, 2012.
Duration of the courses:
1. Master of Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) is two years.
2. Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration (Community Health) (DNEA-CH) is ten months only.
Eligibility criteria:
· For MVPH: MBBS or B.V.Sc/A.H. degree of the University of Calcutta or any university recognized by the University of Calcutta.
· For DNEA-CH: Candidate/diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery from any of the state Nursing institutions of India or its equivalent from any other country and registered with respective Nursing councils. Minimum of two years working experience after basic qualification in a reputed health facility in any clinical area of Nursing or Community Nursing.
NOTE: Male Nurses must have prescribed training recognized by Nursing Council in any clinical area of Nursing like TB, Physiotherapy etc in lieu of Midwifery
