1.    E-CLINICS FOR J&K FARMERS

·        The J&K government launched an e-clinics service for farmers with aim to double farmers’ income by 2022

·        The department of Agriculture in collaboration with centre for Agriculture and Bio-Sciences International (CABI) has setup 15 plant clinics in Samba, Kathua and Jammu.

·        The establishment of these clinics will go a long way in protecting the crops from diseases thereby

increasing the productivity and income of farmers.

·        Proposal for growth corridor presented to the board of governor of AFDB

·        The document presented to the board of African development bank’s governors at their annual meeting proposes four key elements that leverage the strengths of India and Japan

4.    BRAHMAPUTRA READY TO GIFT INDIA ITS LONGEST BRIDGE

·        The Dhola-Sadiya bridge over the Brahmaputra in Assam’s Tinsukiya district, ready for inauguration

·        It runs 9.15 km from end to end, including 4.25 km between the river’s north and south banks

·        Bridge in Assam will bring Arunachal several hours closers and help Army teams reach border posts faster
