The Gautam Buddh Technical University known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, is going to conduct the State Entrance Examination U.P.S.E.E. for admission into different programs like Enginnering, Pharmecy, Architecture , Management, Fashion & Design of Government Aided and Private unaided institutions affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow & Mahamaya Technical University, Noida, along with some of the other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh for the academic session 2013 – 2014..
U.P.S.E.E is open to all candidates who have passed Std. 12th or equivalent level examination from any institute in U.P.The exam will be held on 20th and 21st of April, 2013. Notifications regarding the UPSEE 2013 Application Forms have been released in the month of February 2013.
How to Apply:-
1. The candidates can purchase the UPSEE 2013 Application Form from the Head Post Offices or the Mukhya Dak Ghar (MDGs) of Uttar Pradesh from the first week of March 2013 to the third week of March 2013.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ STcandidates).
2. Candidates can apply through ONLINE also. The ONLINE UPSEE 2013 Application Form will be made available from the end of February 2013 to the last week of March 2013.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to Website: http://upsee.nic.in or http://uptu.ac.in or http://www.mtu.ac.in.
2. The detailed procedure for applying online for the exam will be available on the websites.
3. Fill the Application Form with the Mandatory fields and then Click "Review" button before submitting it..
4. After successful Submission of Application Form the system will generate the unique Registration Number which must be noted down for all the future correspondences.
5.Now the candidate should make the payment of examination fee via credit/debit card or bank challan/Internet Banking.

Applying candidates must have passed the qualifying examination of class XII without grace in the subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject with a minimum aggregate of 45% (GEN) and 40% (ST/SC).
UPSEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Candidates-
The candidates who have done their diploma in Engineering from an Institute located in U.P. with a minimum aggregate of 45% (GEN) or 40% (ST/SC) or the candidates whose parents are U.P. Domicile and they have done diploma with a minimum aggregate of 45% (GEN) or 40% (ST/SC) in any branch of engineering from the institute recognized by the U.P. Technical Board of Education are eligible for admission via lateral entry.
UPSEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria for NRI candidates:
1. The NRI candidates must have passed the qualifying examination which is considered equivalent to the XII class exam in India with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics from an institution outside India to be eligible as per UPSEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
