Eligibility-
Qualifying Examination: Master’s or equivalent degree from recognized by UGC University
Subjects: Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc.
Minimum Marks: 55% Marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD categories).
The upper age limit for appearing in JRF has also been raised by two years: from the existing 28 years to 30 years (the relaxation as earlier will remain same).
Earlier the exam comprised of three papers.
