Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.
The Staff Selection Commission is making recruitment to the posts of Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Teechnical) in Pay Band-1 (5200- 20200/-) + Grade Pay 1800/-,(Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 01) a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination & interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- by using SBI Challan/ Net banking/ Credit and Debit Cards. No fee for All Women candidates, SC, ST, PH and Ex-Servicemen Candidates.

Educational Qualification:
A candidate should have passed matriculation or its equivalent education from a recognized board/ institute/university. The term matriculation also means Class X.
Nationality:
The candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of
permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and
Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Criteria:
18-25 years Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates & 10 years for PH Candidates & Other relaxation details refer the notification.

Written Exam: The written examination will consist of (Paper-I) objective type paper and (Paper-II) descriptive type as shown below.

(i) Paper-I will consist of Objective Type – Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi. The Commission reserves the right to set the questions additionally in regional languages subject to technical feasibility. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Paper-II will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.
(ii) Paper-II will be descriptive in which the candidate will be required to write short essay/letter in English or any one language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills in view of recategorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements.
