As per the official notification uploaded on the website of Indian Railways, indianrailways.gov.in, the candidates can start applying for this post from 1st June 2018 and they can do it before 30th June 2018.
RPF/RPSF Recruitment 2018 Important Dates:

The total number of vacancies are around 1120 and out of them 50% are reserved for women.

Salary Structure:
- The candidates get a stipend of and Rs 35,400 + other allowances for a Sub Inspector.
- The candidates also need to clear the final examination at the end of the training to get the final job offer.

Selection Process:
There are four stages the candidates goes through in the examination:
- Computer based written exam ( CBT - Computer based test )
- PET and PMT:
The people who clear the computer based written examination will be selected for this round. According to the notification, the condition to clear this round is as follows.

- Document Verification and Medical Examination:
Those who clear the PMT and PET round needs to verify the documents and then the candidate needs to clear the medical round at a railway hospital
- Training:
All the candidates who clear the above three rounds will be sent to training in one of the RPF/RPSF training centre which will be decided as per the railway administration.
How to apply for RPF / RPSF Recruitment:
The students can fill the application form only through online mode. As mentioned after the 1 st June 2018, the direct link to apply for the post of Sub Inspector / Constable becomes active.
- The fee for the online application is 500/- for the General and OBC candidates
- For SC/ST/Female /Minorities/EBC it is around 250/-
