How to apply- Candidates Should Visit to the Official Website of India Railway www.indianrailways.gov.in and Fill the Online Application Form. Before Starting to fill up the on-line application, the candidates should keep in hand ready the All Important details/document information. Candidates Should Check the Information after Filling the Application form Before Submitting it.

Pay Scale- Level 6 of 7th CPC pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 21,700/- plus other allowances admissible at that time.

As we have mentioned the total number of vacancies are around 8619 and out of them 50% are reserved for women.

• Number of vacancies for men for the post of constable : 4408
• Number of vacancies for women for the post of constable - 4216

Here are four stages the candidates goes through in the examination:

• Computer based written exam ( CBT - Computer based test )
• PET and PMT:

• Document Verification and Medical Examination:
  Those who clear the PMT and PET round needs to verify the documents and then the candidate needs to clear the medical round at a railway hospital

• Training:
  All the candidates who clear the above three rounds will be sent to training in one of the RPF/RPSF training centre which will be decided as per the railway administration.

Salary Structure:

• The candidates get a stipend of Rs 21,700 + other allowances for a constable.
• The candidates also need to clear the final examination at the end of the training to get the final job offer.

RPF Constable/SI Salary structure:

Constable: After the final admit the pay scale will be in the range of Rs.21,700 along with other allowances ( As per the Level 3 of the 7th Central Pay Commission )
