Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University addresses the need for trained and specialised human resource for Oil & Gas Industry worldwide. It intends to expand the opportunities for students and professionals to develop intellectual knowledge base with leadership skills to compete in the global arena. This objective is being addressed through a number of specialized and well-planned undergraduate and post-graduate energy education programmes and intensive research initiatives.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria for PDPU 2012 Applicants
• should have a minimum academic qualification of 10+2 with 50% marks (for SC/ST 45%) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry,
• should appear in AIEEE 2012 examination conducted by CBSE on 1st May, 2012.
Students who have appeared at All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE 2012) conducted by CBSE and passed Higher Secondary Examination (or its equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply.
Candidates should have
(A) Mark sheet and certificate of Higher Secondary Examination (or its equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or that of qualifying examination listed below:
The 10+2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, including Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Intermediate Science or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University.
Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy.
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
H.S.C. Vocational Examination.
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
