JAM (Joint Admission Test) 2017 Description- IIT Delhi is organizing JAM (Joint Admission Test) exam for 2017. Candidates qualified in JAM 2017, will be eligible to apply to take admission into Integrated Ph.D degree programmes at IISc Banalore and M.Sc,Joint M.Sc-Ph.D,dual degree, M.Sc-M.Tech, M.Sc-M.S (Research)/Ph.D dual degree and other post-Bachelor degree programmes at IIts. Eligibility- All candidates admitted through JAM 2017 must bachelor degree. Atleast 50 % marks without rounding off (including all subjects and subsidiaries, all years combined) for general/OBC(NCL-non creamy layer) Candidates and 50% marks without rounding off (including all subjects and subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST/Pwd Candidates in qualifying degree. For candidates with grades in letter/CGPA(instead of percentage of marks) the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the admitting institute. Proof of qualifying degree with minimum educational qualifications as specified by the admitting institute should be submitted by sep 30 2017.
Exam Schedule- There are 7 test papers in JAM 2017 namely Biological Science(BL), Biotechnology(BT), Chemistry(CY), Geology(GG), Mathematics(MA),Mathematical Statics(MS), Physics(PH). Note-Each paper is of 3 hours duration.A candidate can appear in either one or two test paper. Each paper will contain 3 different pattern of Questions- MCQ(Multiple Choice Question) MSQ(Multiple Select Question) NAT(Numerical Answer type Question) Exam Mode- Online only 12th(Sunday) february 2017 In two session Forenoon session- 9 AM to 12 noon - For BL,MA,PH Afternoon session- 2 PM to 5 PM - For BT,CY,GG,MS
