Eligibility-


A)Nationality/Citizenship-A candidate must be either -

  • a citizen of India,or

  • a subject of Nepal,or

  • a subject of Bhutan,or

  • a Tibetan Refugee who came over india before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently setting in india

  • a person of indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan,Burma,East african countries of Kenya,Sri Lanka,Uganda,Zambia,Malawi,Zaire,Ethiopia and Vietnam and the
    United republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) with the intention setting in india permanently.


B)Educational Qualification-A graduate degree in any discipline from a Government recognised university.

OR

Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.


C)Age-(as on 1-9-2016)-Minimum Age-20 years

    Maximum Age-30 years


Age Relaxation in Upper age limit-

  • SC/ST-5 years

  • OBC-3 years

  • Persons with Disability-10 years

Note:-The candidates have to qualify in each three subjects by gaining cut off marks to be decided by IPPB.

After that according to the requirements the candidates will be shortlisted by IBPS  for the Main Exam.

Marks obtained by the candidates in Main Examination only will be considered for short listing for interview and also for Merit List.


Note-IPPB reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination which will be intimated through its website.



 

Exam Analysis-

There will be penalty for Wrong answer (applicable to both-Preliminary and Main Examination).

One fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.


And


There will no penalty for the question that is left Blank means no option/answer is marked by the candidate.
