Description

 The Government of National Capital Territory(NTC) of Delhi has instituted the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board DSSSB incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired. The Board shall hereby committed to develop selection and recruitment procedures that confirm to the global standards in testing, and promise selections by all fair means, of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments.

DSSSB has announced notification for the recruitment of total 3748 post in various categories.Detailed description of the various no. of post offered by DSSSB are given below:

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-


A.     General :

  1. The eligibility conditions are indicated in the advertisements in newspapers which are subject to conditions and relaxations and are usually determined by the Educational Qualification, Professional Experience if required, Age Limit, Category etc. of the candidate.
  2. Before submitting the application form, the candidate must carefully read the eligibility conditions of the post(s) applied for and satisfy himself that he fulfills all the eligibility conditions.
  3. The Board does not undertake any scrutiny of the applications before the examination and all applicants except those applicants whose applications are summarily rejected, are allowed to appear in the examination and their eligibility is verified only after the examination.
  4. The admission at all the stages of recruitment for which a candidate is admitted by the Board, will be provisional subject to his satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions for the posts applied for. 
  5. Any dispute with regard to this recruitment will be subject to Courts/ Tribunals having jurisdiction over National Capital Territory of Delhi.

B.     Nationality/ Citizenship :

    A Candidate must be a Citizen of India or a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility to this effect has been issued by Government of India.

C.     Educational and Other Qualifications :
1.     The educational and other qualifications are indicated in advertisements in newspapers. Please read them carefully.

D.     Age Limits and Relaxation :
1.     The age limits are mentioned in advertisements in newspapers. Please read them carefully.
2.     Age Relaxation for SC/ST and OBC : The age limits are relaxable for SC/ST applicants upto 5 years and for OBC applicants upto 3 years.
 

Exam Pattern of the DSSSB exam is a One Tier Examination of Duration 2 Hour is given below:

Note:

  1. The Examination questions will be bilingual in Hindi & English except for the Languages which would be in the concerned language only.
  2. The examinations will be held at various centers in Delhi only.
  3. The Board has full discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks for selection in different categories for the best selection.
  4. If there are two or more candidates in the same category having equal marks in the examination the candidate older in age will get preference.
  5. The Board does not maintain/operate any reserve list in selection.
  6. The Board may shortlist the candidates for written examination on the basis of marks in qualifying exam in case there is large number of candidates.
