Description

The exam AMIE is for category Engineering and is conducted at Engineering level
AIME is conducted to offer offer various engineering degree courses to those students who are unable to pursue these through regular courses in engineering colleges. AIME is conducted by Institution of Engineers, India (IEI)

National level exam

General Eligibility :

  • 10+2/intermediate science examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Bachelor of Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • First year examination of the 5 year integrated engineering degree program or pre or pre-professional examination in engineering.
  • Final examination of 10 + 2 +3 system with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by any state board/ other boards/ universities after 10 years of formal school education.
  • Any equivalent examination of the above said qualifying exam.

Each paper is 3 hours long (unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the list of subjects) the exact dates and other details regarding the examinations like the last date of submission of examination forms, etc., are announced by the institution of engineers in the ‘technicians’ journal.
