ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS to apply in AIPVT 2013:

• Candidate must be Indian and Jammu & Kashmir candidates are not eligible to apply.
• Educational qualification: Candidate should have passed the qualifying exams in Physics,Chemistry,Biology and English individually with 50% marks(for GEN) and 40% marks(for SC/ST) taken together in physics,chemistry,biology and english.
• AGE limit: candidate should attain age of 17 yrs as on 31st Dec ,of the year of examination.
• However, native of J&K can appear for the exam if they submit an affidavit enclosed Proforma on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 10/- duly attested by Metropolitan Magistrate/First Class judicial Magistrate.  

 There is no specific syllabus prescribed for AIPVT.All India Pre Veterinary Test consists of general syllabus of class 10th and 12th under 10+2 scheme/Pre-Medical/Intermediate science or an equivalent examination of an Indian University/ State Board /CBSE.

Pattern for AIPVT: This exam is 3 hrs of duration and it consists of one paper which consists of 200 objective type questions (multiple choice and reason-assertion type) for Physics, Chemistry, Biology  as in that of the class 11th and 12th syllabus under the science stream of University or state or Central Board of Examination.Paper contains three subjects physics, chemistry and biology with 60 questions in physics and 60 in chemistry and 80 in biology.

Admission forms will be available from 8th Jan, 2013 to 8th Feb, 2013 and last date for submission of application form is 15th Feb, 2013 and 2nd March, 2013 for candidates of remote area.Exam will be held on 11th May, 2013.
