Dental study/ Dentistry is a branch of medical science which deals with all the problems which is related to our mouth. These problems may be related to gums, teeths or oral cavities. Dentist can earn good remuneration. Graduates working as  a trainee in government hospital can earn initial salary of around Rs. 8000 per month with allowances. A dental surgeon can earn good amount of money by their own practice. A consultant charges from Rs 250 onwards for cosmetic filling or routine check-up. This may increase up to Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 depending upon the nature of the dental problem.  A well experienced dentist can earn around Rs 30,000 to Rs 1, 00,000 or more per month.

FOR UNDER GRADUATE: For admission in bachelor's degree programmee, the candidate must have passed XII-standard with Biology, Physics and Chemistry having at-least 60% marks. The duration of course is four years.

FOR POST GRADUATE: For the admission in master's degree programmee, the candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree programmee. The duration of course is two years.
