An average fresh Graduate in civil engineering can expect a salary between Rs 10,000 to 15,000 per month at entry level . A diploma Holder can expect Rs 8000 to 10,000 per month on an average.
After two to three years of experience on good projects one can earn Rs 30,000 – 35000 per month. With more experience or as an established independent consultant one could earn more. There are no ceilings for right candidates to progress in this field.

The minimum eligibility for UG program i.e. BE/Btech in Civil Engineering is 12th standard and should be done with science field with physics, chemistry , maths.
