Vedavyasa Institute of technology is started in the year 2004 and is governed by the Vedavyasa trust. The founder Chairman V.Vijayakumaran Nair is a Civil Engineer by profession and an Educationist governing One more well established institution namely, Calicut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Calicut established in 1984.
