Sudharsan College of Arts & Science is the brainchild of Sudharsan Educational Trust, founded by Sri V.K. Sundaram, an industrialist of repute with multifarious interests. He established the Trust with the purpose of putting into action the dreams of his illustrious father, Bramhashri K.Vanchinatha Dikshithar , of providing advanced learning in Arts & Science to the youth of Pudukkottai District. The College came into existence in 2006, is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Bharathidasan University. This Institution strives hard to provide the wealth of learning to many who would otherwise never have had the opportunity to elevate their social status and that of their families.
The College is located in a sprawling campus amidst serene and calm surroundings well suited for the pursuit of learning in Perumanadu Village, at a distance of 4 kms from Pudukkottai.
The college has been serving as a beacon light in Pudukkottai District, emphasising teaching and learning in different disciplines, for the benefit of students, who pursue higher education.
