To keep pace with the development and progress in the technical field, Technical Institutes should not only maintain a close linkage with the industries to respond to their urgent needs for development of human resources but also be prepared for future developments keeping in view indigenous technologies and exploits 'of natural talents and resources.
The rapid industrialization of our country in this new century has necessitated multiplication of the facilities for technical education. This phenomenon led to the foundation of "Siwan Engineering & Technical Institute, Siwan" on 19th Nov. 2000 which was inaugurated by the People of Siwan.
Siwan Engineering & Technical Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi recognized by Govt. of Bihar and affiliated to J.P. University, Chapra and right now it has following courses both technical and Professional in the field of Engineering and Management at the Graduation and Post Graduation level:-

This Institution is one of the member of the Association of Unaided Private Minority Engineering colleges of Bihar.
Siwan Engineering & Technical Institute is located at east-south comer of the Siwan along Siwan-Chapra Road,(Railway crossings at Chanp Dhala) spread over an area of 325 acres at a distance of about 3 kms from Siwan Railway Junction. It is a few minute walk from Chanp Dhala (Railway crossing) towards south.
The weather conditions are usually pleasant with temperature variations from 5° to 40° C and rainfall of about 100 em. The campus has unique location in the sense that it is free from environmental pollutions.
