Sigma Institute of Engineering is established with the permission from AICTE in August 2008.It is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. It functions under the leadership of the principal Dr. Paulomi Vyas, PhD, Water Resources Management.
With 135 computer terminals, the computer laboratory of Sigma Institute of Engineering is well equipped to seat a large number of students at one time and the library too provides for a total of 1061 books and 873 titles on management apart from over 16 journals and magazines.
Students at Sigma Institute of Engineering are involved in various activities independently and with the faculty including in framing of the timetable, framing of academic calendars, industrial visits, placement cell activities, sports, athletic, cultural and literary events, trekking and adventure related activities, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and membership to professional bodies like ISTE, etc
There is a Placement Cell which facilitates the students to work with reputed companies.
