•  Shridevi Institute of Engineering & Technology (SIET) is an ISO Certified engineering college and established in the year 2002 under the auspices of Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust by the founder trustee Dr. M.R. Hulinaykar. The trust is running 16 institutions in various fields – Paramedical, Nursing, Education, Polytechnic, Engineering, Degree Colleges, Pre universities, High Schools, Primary Schools, etc. with 7,000 students and about 1,000 employees. The trust is also running a premier leading “Shridevi Hospital & Diagnostic Centre” in the heart of TUMKUR city.

Placement

A separate full fledged Training & Placement Cell has been established in the Institute and has made significant progress in a short span of time. Training & Placement Department is fully functional and proactive. The department is geared up to provide its quality services not only in employment to students during studies, but also their employability through well planned and organized training & personality development programmes in their development to face the corporate world.
