Today, thousands of students are produced as professionals, but the need of the hour is only few leaders with strong character imbibed with values to take this nation to the highest level. SCAD institutions were founded with a vision to develop the professionals, who have zeal for growth of the nation and burden for the under privileged. We aim to make these institutions to the World class standard. Our students have already established many records. Specially when we saw our students' love for Tsunami affected brothers and sisters, our hearts were overwhelmed and gained hope that our students shall bring positive changes to the nation.

Team Achievement
Anna University- triunelveli FootBall for men Tournament was conducted at SCAD College of Engg.& Tech from 20-10-09 to 22-10-09 and our team got third place.
Anna University-Tirunelveli FootBall for women Tournament was conducted at Jayaraj Annapackiam CSI Engg. College on 07-10-09 & 08-10-09 and our team got Third Place
Inter University Participant
J.George Niram of MBA (2006-2010) represented the Anna University Inter University FootBall held at Bharathiyar University on 25th November 2009
S.Vigil priya of ECE (2006-2010) represented the Anna University Inter University FootBall held at Pondicherry University on 4th January 2010.
K.Anitha of CSE (2006-2010) represented the Anna University Inter University FootBall held at Pondicherry University on 4th January 2010.

- Anna University state level women kho-kho tournament was conducted in 2008-2009
- Anna University Chennai Women valley ball tournament was conducted in 2008-2009
- Anna University Tirunelveli men & women FootBall tournament was conducted in 2008-2009
- Anna University Tirunelveli men FootBall tournament was conducted in 2009-2010
- Anna University Tirunelveli women kabaddi is yet to be conducted in 2009-2010
Achievements of Our College
- A Separate building was constructed for Mechanical Engineering Department
- An additional Hostel with fifty rooms was constructed for first year boys
- M.E. Computer Science and Engineering was started in 2008.
- Many of the staff members published their research work in National/ International Conferences.
- MOUs with Everon Learning Academy, Sutherland Global Solutions, Chennai, The International Tamil University (ITU), Marryland, USA, and Bosh Rexroth , Germany.
