The University had been established in sept 1995.The college was promoted by the Karpagam Charity Trust, incepted by the renowned Karpagam Industries.The passion of the college is to  ensure excellence in education is what we believe, that has been instrumental in our evolution and to provide world classes education in sciencies.

                            In the campus students are expected to dress neatly and to follow the approved dress code. Girls are expected to be either in saree or churidhar or salwar kameez with duppatta. Boys are expected to come in full pants with bush shirt. Round neck T-shirt with or without any message, Jeans and Short shirts are not allowed. Boys shall not wear earrings, bangles or similar items. Girl students shall tie their hairs properly.

                            Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus.

                             We had got good infrastucture and lab facilities in the college and large volumrs of books in the central library.

Placement

 Karpagam University"'"s Training Cell extends the best in class guidance in Aptitude, Analytical, Logical and English skills.Regular tests will be conducted on group discussions,saminars mock interviews etc....Stress is maintained on the core subjects like embedded and vlsi etc..

                              The current year has seen more than 93% (300 students) get placed in over 20 companies; the expected placement for the next academic year is eyed to be an impressive figure of 400 students.
