The Women’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sitapur was established in the year 2008 with the mission to provide professional education exclusively for girls.
Sitapur is a district in the state of Uttar Pradesh in the Lucknow division . The town is situated half- way between Lucknow and Shahjahanpur , 89 km north-west of the state capital . It is about 1.5 kms away from Lucknow- Delhi National Highway no. 24. The district is traversed by meter gauge railway from Lucknow to Bareilly and on broad gauge train network connecting Gorakhpur to Delhi via Gonda and Bushwal.
The institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to UPTU.
