Vemu Institute of Technology is a Co-Educational institution founded in the year 2008 and is promoted by a group of well known and experienced past and present professors of different Universities who stood for quality education and are known for academic standards, with a motive to provide quality education that caters the trends of developed technology. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

The college is located in a sprawling campus of 16 acres of land in Tirupati – Chittoor State Highway in a calm and serene atmosphere. It is 26 Kms from Chittoor, about 40 Kms from Tirupati and 4 Kms from Pakala Railway Station.
