The institute “Smt. S. R. Patel Engineering College” was established in the year 2009 at Dabhi, about 4 km away from Unjha and about 28 km away from Mehsana. The institute is promoted by Smt. Sushilaben Rameshbhai Patel Charitable Trust and supported by Ajay Engi-Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Mehsana. The lush green campus is spread over in a 12 acre area. The beautiful landscaping, gardens and peaceful environment provide a true feeling of closeness to the nature. The institute offers 4 years degree engineering programmes in four disciplines at the Under Graduate (UG) level viz. Civil, Mechanical, Computer, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. All these programmes are designed to enable learning in application based environment through a combination of teachers and hands-on-experience in well equipped laboratories. The institute has adequate infrastructure viz. spacious air conditioned class rooms with audio visual aids, well equipped workshop and laboratories and a pool of qualified and experienced staff members, library with more than 5000 books and national and international journals and computer Center (120 computers) with necessary softwares and internet connectivity.
