Shree Devi Education Trust, established in the year 1992, started Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, Mangalore, affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi in the year 2006.

All the eligible final year students have been placed through campus placements in companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, EMC2, Birla Soft, CDC Software, SLK Software, Xchanging, Syntellect, Flexi Resource, Global E Soft System, Span InfoTech, Phoenix Maritime, I Soft Technologies, Techjini, Accord systems, Zepplin Mobiles, SYS Technologies, Edista Testing, Continental Automotives and others.

Shree Devi Institute of Technology has a separate department for Placement with qualified and experienced staff, which has continuous interaction with company HRs.
