Pune Institute of Computer Technology, (or PICT) is an engineering college in Pune, India. Established by the Society for Computer Research and Training in 1983, it was the first institute to introduce a Computer Engineering branch among private colleges in the Maharashtra state.[3] It offers degrees in Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. In 2010, it was ranked 16th.
The Training and Placement cell is headed by Mr. G.S.Mundada who is keen in encouraging students to prefer jobs that better suit their profile. The placement season commences in the first month of every academic year and continues till the end of the academic year. Pre-Placement Talks are conducted for the final year students prior to the commencement of placement session every year
The T&P cell has adequate infrastructure to accommodate all the activities related to training and placement of PICT students. It also has wireless connectivity with company operation rooms, interview rooms and student coordination rooms.
