True to its name, Pragati Engineering College is an epithet for progress. The Pragati has been getting accolade from all the students for 20 years for its high standard of teaching and support it offers to students to help them succeed in achieving their goals. At Pragati we aim to foster creativity through discovery, analysis and the dissemination of knowledge.
The Department of Training & Placement was established with an objective of not only securing placements for the students, but also to make them competent enough to face the tough competition. The number of students placed is increasing with every batch, with the 2004-2008 batch securing highest placements till now - 208. The department is headed by Mr. S.Vamsi Kiran – Assoc Professor and Training & Placement Officer. He is supported by coordinators and students from each department.The department also has specialized faculty to impart soft skills and aptitude to the students.
