National Institute of Technology,Manipur was established in 2010. It is one of the 10 NIT's set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. In 1989 the Institute was first established under the Manipur Societies Registration Act. The Institute covered 138.2 hectares of land in lash green areas of Langol,Imphal. The institute has large and good infrastructure to provide all he facilities to the students. The institute conduct different development programmes have been undertaken for establishment of well equipped labotatories and library augmentation of computer facilities.
